Democratizing art through technology with Portia de Rossi.

When Portia de Rossi founded General Public (GP) – a brand-new startup with a 3D printing process powerful enough to reproduce paintings that look and feel exactly like the original – she ushered in a completely new category in the art market that consumers and buyers had never seen before. General Public’s amazing 3D prints, AKA Synographs™, cut out the middleman, democratize art and empower the artist.


Soon after, GP partnered with us to establish a brand and product strategy allowing them to move ahead with confidence and allowing ourselves to design a luxe yet eccentric brand and e-commerce platform that intersected art and technology beautifully. GP worked with their in-house development team to bring JM’s product design to life — successfully launching their e-commerce platform which helped lead to a partnership with retail leaders, Restoration Hardware, allowing revenue to be generated seamlessly.
